| Job Description: Central Office Equipment Installers Needing level 1-4 Central Office Equipment Installers. Experienced in installing/testing/turn-up of transport equipment, fiber optic terminals, DSL. Location: Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina Job Requirements (Level 1 & 2): Installer should be familiar with IP72202/GR-1275 installation practices. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, and take direction from others. Experienced with ironwork, running & lacing cable. Able to install/remove common systems equipment. Job Requirements (Level 3 & 4): Installer should be familiar with IP72202/GR-1275 installation practices. Should be capable of working on new and existing equipment. Should be capable of performing hardware additions and software upgrades on working equipment. Experienced with equipment testing and turn-up, removal. Power transition work. Addition or removal of circuits on working power distribution sources. Circuit modifications. Able to follow detailed written procedures, and work with a minimal amount of direction. Direct activities of other installers. Complete job paperwork, including but not limited to MOPs, JIMs, progress reports, final inspections. Resolve job specifications and drawing problems. Prior experience working with Adtran, Fujitsu, Tellabs, Nortel transport equipment a plus. Job Requirements (all levels): Must be able to work safely in a central office environment. Must be able to climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds. Need vehicle and current vehicle insurance w/ proof of insurance. Must have a valid driver's license. Must furnish your own small hand tools, VOM. Other tools a plus. May need laptop, depending on job. May be required to travel within the state. Job Description: Central Office / Network Support Looking for resources for Central Office and network technical support. Will work remotely with COE Maint. techs on isolating trouble and resolving problems. Assist in outage restoral, provide root cause analysis. Location: Indiana Job Requirements : Solid experience in several of the following areas: sonet systems, digital cross-connects, switching, multiplexers, pair gain systems, DC power plants. Ability to work remotely with techs. Good trouble isolation skills, overall knowledge of switching and transport systems. TL1 skills. Knowledge of Preside and Netsmart 1500 element management systems a plus. Some night work required. Good verbal and written communication skills required. Further information: Work 3 to 6 months minimum. |
