| ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains and manages equipment and applications that support Cable ONE Phone. Provides direction and support to Operations Team and field top tier trouble escalations. Works with the NOC to research and resolve application and equipment alarms. Participates in the deployment and integration of new equipment and applications to support Cable ONE Phone. Researches new features and functionality to improve the product offering. Provides reporting mechanism to management that defines the health of the network, equipment and operational metrics for the Cable ONE Phone product. Executes patching cycles and coordinates software maintenance releases. Identifies LERG changes and updates switch tables. Ensures compliance with password and security policies. Works with internal resources and vendors on the evolution of the solution architecture. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Experience designing, troubleshooting or maintaining voice/telephony solutions with one or more of the following platforms: BroadSoft, Nortel CS2K or Movius. Thorough understanding of call routing, IP routing, traffic management, capacity planning and security desirable. Business process knowledge of equipment, network and back office systems related to telephony. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Must be a self starter with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Must be flexible, team player. |
| Proof of U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card is required. Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university preferred. |
