The Position:
At AmeriCU, our mission is to build meaningful connections and empower our members with the financial tools they need to live life fully, dream big, and achieve lasting success. In support of this mission, we’re seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our Member Technology Services team.
This hybrid role is central to our cloud-first strategy, balancing innovation in Microsoft Azure and M365 with the reliability of our core on-premises systems.
What You’ll Do as a Cloud Systems Administrator:
- Lead the administration of Microsoft Azure and M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Purview.
- Manage hybrid infrastructure environments (VMware, Azure, physical servers, SAN storage).
- Troubleshoot and optimize system performance across cloud and on-prem platforms.
- Drive automation and lifecycle management using Azure Automation and PowerShell.
- Enforce secure cloud operations through role-based access control, MFA, and compliance tagging.
- Modernize legacy systems and migrate workloads to Azure-based services.
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point and mentor junior team members.
- Act as technical lead or project manager for infrastructure and cloud transformation efforts.
What You’ll Bring:
- Expertise in Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and Entra integrations.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Strong documentation skills and a commitment to IT governance and change management.
- Passion for staying current with Microsoft cloud technologies and zero-trust architectures.
