Helpdesk Engineer
360training is seeking a Helpdesk Engineer to join our growing team. The Helpdesk Engineer will deliver exceptional technical support for a hybrid workforce, ensuring employees can work securely and efficiently from anywhere. This role covers on-premises systems, cloud services, and modern device management in a fast-paced environment.
*This role will require the candidate to be onsight daily for a period of time then transition to a hybrid role with determination by the hiring manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hardware and software technical support for onsite and remote employees (Windows 10/11, macOS, and mobile devices)
- Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Manage user lifecycle in Azure Active Directory and Windows Active Directory, including MFA, Conditional Access, and identity security policies
- Support endpoint management with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, and compliance policies
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues (VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Zero Trust solutions)
- Automate repetitive tasks and reporting using PowerShell
- Assist with Teams Phone and Microsoft 365 voice/collaboration solutions
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, device setup, and permissions
- Maintain accurate documentation and update tickets in JIRA
- Collaborate with security teams to respond to phishing reports, account compromises, and endpoint alerts
- Maintain asset inventory and oversee procurement processes
- Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts
- Provide end-user training on tools, security best practices, and remote work technologies
Requirements
- Microsoft certification such as MCP, M365 Fundamentals, or SC-900
- 2–3 years’ experience with Windows AD and Azure AD administration
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and modern security controls
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager, MDM solutions, and Windows Autopilot (preferred)
- Strong PowerShell skills for automation and reporting
- Knowledge of hybrid networking concepts, Zero Trust principles, and VPN technologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with a customer-first approach
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines
