Information Technology Helpdesk
SUMMARY
This is an entry-level position in the IT Department of the bank. Under supervision, this person will implement, administer, and maintain all technological systems used in the day-to-clay operations of the Bank. This position also offers support directly to employees with all technology issues and limited support directly or indirectly to customers of the Bank. This position will be expected to learn and develop the abilities to meet the responsibilities and duties below. This position must keep network security as the highest priority.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and maintain the topology and interaction of all physical, logical and transport components of the technological infrastructure of First Federal Community Bank. Manage and maintain the individual components and hardware devices utilized in our systems network architecture, including VMware, Veeam. Site Recovery Manager, Windows servers and workstations, SonicWall firewalls, managed switches, printers, scanners, and all other software and devices used by the bank.
Install, configure, patch, upgrade and provide support for all software applications (Microsoft Office products as well as some proprietary applications) and devices authorized for use on our network. Provide top-level technical support to employee users of our computer and network systems. Assist in planning, design and implementation phases of IT Department projects. Manage specific projects to timely success, according to guidelines provided by management.
Assist with anticipation, prevention and resolution of security issues as they relate to technology, physical premises, banking regulations and/or operational procedures, including integral feedback in the development of appropriate Information Security programs, policies, procedures and systems to satisfy corporate policy, and regulatory and compliance requirements. Assist in risk analysis for functional areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommend disaster avoidance and reduction strategies. Provide guidance and coordinate the efforts of staff members in the development of recovery procedures for key areas of the organization. Develop and maintain administration procedures for all systems and technology infrastructure. Manage security administration according to approved procedures.
Interact with 3rd-party vendors to ensure the systems used by the Bank perform to contractual expectations and to develop new technological systems and products to meet the Bank's needs.
Perform any other duties as may be required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, architectures, and products. Have the ability to rapidly develop any specific knowledge or skill that is required to administer and support those technologies, policies and regulatory requirements of the Bank. Have strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with a bank or other financial institution network would be helpful, but not required.

The salary offered for this position will be based upon previous professional experience in the IT field. Degrees, professional credentials and certifications are preferred but not required.
