12-month position/40 hours per week/11 AM – 7:30 PM
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Serve as the first contact for staff who need technical assistance via phone, chat, or email.
•Maintains all Chromebook repairs, orders parts, and tracks repairs. Maintains loaner Chromebook inventory.
•Maintains antivirus software and assists in virus removal.
•Responds to helpdesk requests and service tickets as needed.
•Maintains and repairs printers and copiers.
•Provides technical support for internal operations and hosted applications, including email, student information system, call notification services, etc.
•Diagnose and repair equipment, laptops, and desktops.
•Performs and maintains software updates on all computers.
•Performs routine functions in support of daily operations for Continuing Education and Practical Nursing Program staff and students.
•Maintains strict confidentiality of staff and student records.
•Remains current on industry trends.
•Works closely with evening Directors to support after-hour technology needs.
•Assists Continuing Education staff in properly preparing for nightly course instruction and operations.
•Any other duties assigned by the Director of Technology or Director of Continuing Education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift and move network equipment, servers, computers, peripherals, and furniture. May be required to walk long distances, climb a ladder, squat, kneel, or maneuver in small spaces.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The individual may be exposed to ultraviolet lights, as are found in computer monitors and copying equipment. The individual may be exposed to chemicals that are used in copying equipment, printer ribbons, and other office supplies. The individual may be exposed to various hazards in the building

12-month position/40 hours per week/11 AM – 7:30 PM
Salary; $18.00 – 22.00 per hour.

EVALUATION:
Performance will be evaluated following the School Committee Policy.
