Job Description

  • The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible implementing Asset Management from an integration perspective.
  • · The candidate will be have an understanding of Service Now functionality and how Asset Management processes can be implemented in Service Now.
  • · This includes, but is not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management and CMDB Management modules.
  • · The ServiceNow Administrator plays a key role during the planning and testing stages of automated collection of configuration data and working with ITSM teams to understand process requirements and translate into technical specifications for implementation.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • · Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators and project team to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests
  • · Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • · Provide visibility to the performance and issues
  • · Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments
  • · Work with systems managers to ensure that the Asset Management tool has the appropriate access and permissions to capture configuration information

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • · 2 to 3 years working in the ServiceNow platform in an Admin/Developer Capacity
  • · Ability to wear multiple hats i.e. Business Analyst, Project Analyst, Admin/Developer, and tester as required
  • · Skill to effectively analyze and solve problems
  • · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors and stakeholders
  • · Experience integrating with tools to federate data into the CMDB
  • · Strong written and verbal communication
  • · Solid interpersonal skills, including collaboration, communication, relationship building, and negotiation
  • · Minimum of 5+ years working on a team as part of a large IT organization
  • · Proficient with Microsoft Office tools; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • · Able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • · ServiceNow System Administration and/or ServiceNow Asset Management Certification.
