System Administrator

ProTech IT Solutions, a New Charter Technologies Company, is a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in White Plains, NY. We are seeking a skilled and client-focused System Administrator to join our team. This role supports clients both remotely and on-site, primarily in Westchester County and New York City.

We’re looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and technically adept professional who thrives in a team setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT support and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to clients with professionalism and urgency

• Proactively monitor and maintain client systems to prevent downtime and improve performance

• Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and deliver tailored solutions

• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server environments and Windows 10 workstations

• Administer Office 365 environments including user management and email configurations

• Configure and support network protocols such as TCP/IP and ensure secure connectivity

• Utilize RMM tools (e.g., ConnectWise) for system monitoring and management

• Assist in cloud infrastructure support including Azure and AWS environments

• Document technical procedures and client interactions in ticketing systems

• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks effectively

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• In-depth knowledge of networking and system administration

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team

• Reliable commute to White Plains, NY or willingness to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment

• Familiarity with RMM tools such as ConnectWise

• Cloud experience with platforms like Azure or AWS

• College degree in IT or related field and relevant certifications

Salary: $75,000 annually
