King County Metro Transit is hiring a System Administrator (Project Program Manager II) to join Central Services within the Capital Division of Metro Transit Department. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for providing application support to users of Metro’s Capital Management Reporting System or CMRS. CMRS supports the implementation of capital projects for the Department. The system includes planning, budgeting and contracts modules. Initially, this position will support the Project Controls Office’s efforts to make improvements to their contracts modules with additional duties assigned as this work progresses.

This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) Term Limited Temporary/Special Duty Assignment (TLT/SDA) position. The duration of this assignment is anticipated to be 2 years with the possibility to extend. In addition, this selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future Career Service, Special Duty Assignment, Term Limited Temporary or Short-Term Temporary vacancies that may occur in this classification within this workgroup. Telecommuting Requirement:
This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and onsite at various King County facilities. Employees will be provided with a County-issued laptop and are required to maintain a workspace with a reliable internet connection, allowing them to perform their duties effectively and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
Employees must reside in WA state and within a reasonable distance of their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. There will be situations where the employee is required to report to a county worksite.
Work Schedule:
Our regular business hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. However, work outside of these hours may occasionally be required. Alternative work schedules may be considered. This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and therefore is eligible for overtime pay.
