Our client is seeking Systems Administrators who are ready to elevate their skills and tackle the toughest challenges facing the U.S. Government. In this mission-critical role, you'll help maintain secure, efficient, and scalable IT systems and infrastructure that support High Performance Computing (HPC) and a range of sensitive government operations.

As a Systems Administrator, you’ll:
Provide network management and system administration to support infrastructure and development environments
Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain IT systems
Manage system and server resources, including performance, capacity, availability, and recoverability
Plan and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures
Troubleshoot hardware/software interface issues
Ensure compliance with security standards (including RMF and STIGs)
Deliver resilient systems that are vital to the overall success of the mission

Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with Windows and Linux patching
Familiarity with VMware/ESXi environments
Networking knowledge, including VLAN setup and virtual NIC configuration
Experience with Active Directory configuration and support
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and OS
Understanding of RMF security requirements and STIG hardening
Automation with Ansible, Python, and Bash
CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, and Swarm
Knowledge of container registries (e.g., Docker Hub, GCR)
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like ELK Stack and Prometheus
Fluent in sarcasm, kindness, and the occasional lighthearted tech banter
5–15 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Active DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
