Position Summary
The Systems Administrator ensures reliable, secure, and efficient technical
operations by managing network configurations, troubleshooting, and maintaining
essential systems. Through proactive support and innovative solutions, the
Systems Administrator strengthens the company’s mission to expand access to
quality, affordable medications.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service
while managing daily support tasks, including user onboarding,
troubleshooting tickets, reimaging computers, password resets, and overall
network and system maintenance.
- Configures, installs, and maintains
network equipment, computers, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring
reliable connectivity and performance while addressing root causes of
technical issues.
- Supports organizational efficiency
through proactive project management, process improvements, hardware
inventory control, and accurate, up-to-date documentation.
- Oversees building security, physical
access control, and disaster recovery systems, maintaining security
protocols, backup completions, and compliance with licensing agreements,
including Client Access Licenses and regulatory standards.
Manages the Active Directory
infrastructure, Domain Name System, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol,
VMware environment, and system policies, ensuring optimal network
performance and rapid response to service interruptions.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the
employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain
in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently
use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and
retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices.
The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the
corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with
arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Knowledge And Skills
- Proven experience as a Technical Support
Engineer, System Administrator, or similar, with skills in Microsoft
Office 365, Windows Server, Microsoft PowerShell scripting, VMware Virtual
Center, VMware Virtual Sphere, Storage Area Network storage, Transmission
Control Protocol/Internet Protocol networks, and remote monitoring.
Strong customer service, troubleshooting,
and organizational skills with clear communication; additional experience
in Aruba or Cisco Networks, Linux Kernel-Based Virtual Machine, or Virtual
Desktop Infrastructure is a plus.
