Systems Administrator Positions
Physical Demands
Ability to lift and transport computer equipment up to 20 lbs. Ability to sit and stand for long stretches of time with extensive computer use. Responsibilities may require lifting equipment, working evenings, weekends, sometimes with little advance notice.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems ( MIS ) or related field plus five years’ experience in system administration and customer support. Knowledge of business functions is also important, as is the ability to communicate with other employees in both technical and non-technical roles. Experience supporting 100+ computers and 100+ users. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of training users in applications and operating system fundamentals and writing basic documentation.
