Systems Administrator Positions

Position Summary:

The strategic lead for One Church is responsible for overseeing the full implementation, optimization, and strategic integration of the One Church church management system (ChMS) across the organization. This role provides high-level leadership, cross-departmental coordination, backend configuration, and daily support to ensure that One Church is functioning as an essential tool for ministry operations, member engagement, and data-informed decision-making. 


Duties/Responsibilities: 

System Leadership & Strategy  

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for One Church.
  • Develop, execute and maintain a strategic roadmap to achieve optimal system efficiency. 
  • Lead policy development for governance, permissions, naming conventions, and system use standards.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders for feature rollouts and enhancements.
  • Ensure alignment of One Church tools and workflows with organizational priorities.

Operational Oversight & Support  

  • Provide backend support and technical troubleshooting for staff, departments, and ministry leaders.
  • Guide and enforce data integrity, usage standards, and workflow consistency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration  

  • Coordinate integration of One Church with other systems/platforms as needed.
  • Partner with internal departments to execute One Church initiatives. 

Team Leadership & Delegation  

  • Tag-team support with the assigned Trainer & Backend Support role.
  • Assign or escalate tickets to training/support team members.
  • Serve as primary point of contact and accountability for One Church performance and usage.

  • Strong technical proficiency in digital tools and platforms.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to train, coach, and lead others in technology adoption.
  • High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong follow-through.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to organizational operations, policies, and structures. 
  • Must possess strong people skills and a spirit of hospitality.
  • Cover the Pastor and First Lady in prayer.
  • Use significant judgment to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality and work independently or with a small team.
  • Possess excellent time-management and organizational skills to complete all tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all tasks, with meticulous attention to detail (from the critical to the trivial).
  • Possess a working knowledge and understanding of church doctrines, protocol and church leadership structure.
