Our Client is looking for an "Desktop Support Engineer" based out at San Francisco, CA


Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Reponsibilities:
  • Resolve complex issues that may not be well documented, and apply your knowledge to improving and creating support procedures and documentation

  • Manage our IT ticket queue to ensure service level agreements are met

  • Manage and troubleshoot Gaming PC, printers, and other IT-related site equipment

  • Manage our IT assets through the entire lifecycle, onboarding, repairs, and secure disposal.

  • Image, and deploy laptops for employees both locally and remote

  • Analyze competing tasks, assess technical risk, and communicate impact to the business and team


Required Skills:

  • 2+ year’s experience working in an IT Desktop Support role

  • Have broad knowledge of and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting on macOS, Windows 10, Linux, and managing Mac and PC's in an enterprise environment. Perform advanced system administration activities and are a subject expert in at least one area of technology

  • Experience with client management systems

  • Experience with IT Services ticketing software

  • Exposure or some experience to scripting or programming.

  • An understanding and awareness of Security standards

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT related field

  • Advanced Windows, macOS or Linux systems administration skills/certification

  • Experience with Google Meet, Cisco, Zoom.

  • Familiar with ServiceNow

  • ITIL certification or courses
