The College of Dentistry (CoD) Information Systems IT department invites you to join our team as a Desktop Support Specialist Lead. In this role, you’ll support the research, academic, and patient care missions of our college. You will be the first point of contact for support requests through in-person interactions, emails, and phone calls. This is a lead role that has ownership over the desktop support and assessment management operations.
You will partner with various members of our team, including another Desktop Support Specialist and student workers, to solve problems and provide support for one another. Our environment is primarily Windows OS-focused, with a mixture of Mac devices. Through our comprehensive onboarding and training process, we will ensure new candidates become proficient and knowledgeable in the Dentistry IT ecosystem.
In this role you will lead our asset management operations including purchasing, imaging, deploying, and surplus. This position is also responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives within the department and college.

This position has the following responsibilities:
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm; Weekend or holiday hours when necessary.
Ability to lift and move standard desktop PC equipment and peripherals, up to 50 pounds.

Pay Range: $58,700 - $77,200
Salary will be based off of education, experience and budget allowance.
