Contract Length: 6 months

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to provide onsite, hands-on technical support for end users. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining desktop environments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal functionality of end-user systems. You will collaborate with internal IT teams and deliver exceptional service to support business operations across a wide range of technologies.

Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of overall IT support experience.

  • At least 1 year of recent experience in desktop support, including installation, upgrade, and management of Microsoft desktop environments.

  • Proficiency with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-connected devices.

  • Familiarity with Active Directory desktop integration.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Skills:
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MCSA.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.


Duties:
  • Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, wireless devices, firewalls, routers, printers, monitors, projectors, and peripherals.

  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft Windows operating systems (XP through Windows 10).

  • Install, configure, and support Microsoft Office suites (2003 through 2019).

  • Perform software and hardware installation, maintenance, and upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot, install, and configure network and local printers.

  • Image, patch, and update desktop and laptop systems.

  • Support mobile devices and remote connectivity solutions.

  • Resolve desktop issues related to Active Directory integration.

  • Track and manage service tickets while maintaining clear communication with end users.

  • Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced technical environment.
