IT HelpDesk Intern - Summer 2026
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking an IT Intern to join our dynamic and energetic team. This position will assist the IT Department in providing support for IT Help desk requests as well as cell phone and wireless customer support to the entire organization.
What you’ll do:
Duties include:
Troubleshooting and providing training on PC, application, and network requests.
Conducting level one (initial and immediate) repairs to physical equipment, operating systems, applications, and configurations that can be immediately addressed.
Inventorying technology assets and documenting deployments and changes in assignments of technology assets.
Issuing new cell phones and wireless cards.
Issuing replacement cell phones and wireless cards.
Programming and maintaining cell phones.
Updating and maintaining documentation for all above activities.
Who you are:
We are pursuing candidates with the following qualifications:
Enrolled in a college or university.
Willing to work in a variety of roles depending on the needs of the department.
Solution oriented, problem solver with a hands-on and team-oriented attitude.
Organized and have good communication skills.
Ability to relate to a diverse group of individuals throughout the organization.
Basic computer knowledge.
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, preferred.
What we offer:
The hourly pay for this role is between $20.00 - $25.00. The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
