Job Overview
The IT Network Administrator is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting AltaMed’s growing network infrastructure, including, but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers, and monitoring systems. This position is responsible for racking/cabling equipment and assisting other teams, including Systems, Security, Clinical Applications, and Data Engineering.
Minimum Requirements
CCNA or higher certification (CCNP preferred).
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related to the field or equivalent years of experience.
3+ years of working knowledge deploying/maintaining LAN/WAN, MPLS, TACACS+, RADIUS, Wireless, and VPN.
Experience with Palo Alto security appliances and Cisco FTD Firewalls (preferred).
Experience with Cisco Routers, Catalyst switches, and Cisco Nexus switches.
Experience with Wireless technologies with Cisco Wireless Controllers (preferred).
Experience in virtualization and cloud systems (VMware VSphere, Microsoft, Google Cloud), (preferred).
Experience with configuration and monitoring systems like SolarWinds, and Cisco DNAC.
Experience supporting solutions with high availability and real-time monitoring.
Experience building and managing DR environment.
Compensation
$100,682.25 - $125,852.83 annuallyCompensation Disclaimer
