Network Administrator Positions

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.  

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. 

• Plan, design, and implement network infrastructure components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.  

• Monitor and maintain computer networks, including servers, switches, and routers, to ensure high availability and reliability. 

• Configure and troubleshoot networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. 

• Manage Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. 

• Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. 

• Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to network equipment and software. 

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and security tools. 

• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems. 

• Perform system backups and recovery procedures. 

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards. 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. 

• Develop and implement strategies for migrating on-premises systems and applications to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. 

• Configure and monitor cloud services and resources for performance, availability, and security. 

• Design and deploy cloud-based solutions for our organization, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. 

• Configure and monitor cloud services and resources for performance, availability, and security. 

• Manage and configure Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for user and computer settings. 

• Manage and troubleshoot AD issues, including authentication, replication, and user and group management. 

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

• 5+ years of experience in network administration, including Microsoft Azure cloud experience.  

• 5+ years of experience in technical support or related fields. 

• 3+ years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory administration. 

• Microsoft Azure certification (Azure Administrator Associate or higher) preferred. 

• Excellent knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, MPLS, and BGP. 

• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and other network infrastructure components. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team. 

• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. 

• Experience in configuring and managing cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. 

• Strong understanding of Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, replication, and DNS. 

• Experience in managing and configuring Group Policy Objects (GPOs). 

• Experience in troubleshooting AD issues, including authentication, replication, and user and group management. 

 

Working Conditions: 

The IT Network Administrator will be working in an office environment with standard office hours. However, they may need to work outside of normal business hours to perform maintenance or upgrades that require minimal network disruption. The job may also require the IT Network Administrator to be on-call to address network emergencies or critical issues outside of business hours.
