About the Position:

Millennial Software is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level System Administrator to join our growing IT operations team. In this role, you will help manage and maintain our corporate infrastructure, including workstations, servers, networks, and cloud environments. You will assist with system configuration, user management, software deployment, and network troubleshooting to ensure secure, efficient, and reliable IT operations across the organization.

Essential Functions:

  • User and Device Management – account provisioning and maintenance in systems like Active Directory and Azure AD, access control and workstation setup
  • System Monitoring and Maintenance – Using tools like Microsoft Intune to track system health, performing updates, patches and antivirus checks to keep systems secure and optimized.
  • Network and Infrastructure Support – Supporting basic operations like DHCP, DNS, and management and diagnosing issues with Wi-Fi, VPNs, and LAN connections. Assisting with on-premise or cloud-based servers, storage systems, and virtualization environments
  • Security and Compliance Enforcement – managing endpoint security, access audits and policy adherence of corporate IT systems 
Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Strong willingness to learn infrastructure and customer support roles
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills 

Education: 

Degree: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline. 

General Experience Substitution: A high school diploma or GED PLUS a minimum of four (4) years of directly related, full-time professional experience in an Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent role. 

Military/Training Equivalent: Demonstrated, equivalent knowledge and applied skills (KSAs) acquired through a combination of: 

  • Advanced military technical training (such as completion of a relevant Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or Rating training), AND 
  • Four (4) years of documented, hands-on, professional-level experience gained in a primary military IT function. 

Nice to have:

  • Basic level usage of Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm charts for deployment 
  • Basic experience in python, bash or other scripting languages
