We are seeking a qualified Junior Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology (IT) department. This role will assist with the day-to-day operational activities of the IT systems. The Junior Systems Administrator will be responsible for responding to IT help requests submitted via our online support ticket system, emails, phone calls, and in-person visits. In addition to resolving IT related issues, this position will also assist with projects to help grow and maintain the organization’s technology infrastructure. This role will report to the Information Technology Operations Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Setup and maintain technology systems, such as computers, servers, mobile devices, IP phones, networks, routers, firewalls, printers, associated services, and software
· Perform administration tasks such as user management, group management, permissions management
· Respond to helpdesk cases, troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and ultimately solutions
· Provide user education and training as needed
· Create, document, and manage daily processes and instructions
· Assist with various IT projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Advanced computer troubleshooting skills
· Strong knowledge of computer networks
· Experience with InfoTech Security Practices and skills
· Microsoft Office experience
· Ability to manage time and projects effectively and efficiently
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
· High school or equivalent
