Job Summary
- Seeking a highly motivated and skilled WebLogic Administrator / Linux System Administrator to support enterprise applications and cloud environments
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Oracle WebLogic Server, administering Linux systems, and supporting application deployments across Cloud Infrastructures
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze detailed requirements and develop detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology
- Provide implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows
- Perform routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security
- Perform system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning
- Perform proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server environments
- Administer and support Linux operating systems in on-premise and cloud environments (AWS and OCI)
- Manage application deployments and troubleshoot issues across multiple environments
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications
- Support Java-based applications, including configuration and deployment
- Collaborate with development, database, and security teams to optimize system performance and reliability
- Assist with system patching, upgrades, automation, and compliance efforts
- Document system configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting steps
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system or application administration, including cloud exposure
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration
- Solid background in Linux system administration (Red Hat or Oracle Linux preferred)
- Experience managing cloud environments in AWS
- Familiarity with Java application deployment and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database administration or development
- Understanding of networking, storage, and security best practices in both on-premise and cloud environments
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Java, Oracle APEX, and Oracle Database
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Exempt hourly position.  11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.  Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
