Network Administrator

We are seeking a Network Administrator to support firewall request review, approvals, and implementation for a large financial organization. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ year of experience working with Palo Alto Networks firewalls who can confidently handle change control tasks in a secure enterprise environment.

We are looking for someone who understands how firewalls work, can handle change control processes, and is comfortable executing configuration changes during scheduled evening maintenance windows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming firewall change requests for accuracy and policy compliance
• Approve, document, and submit formal Change Requests for scheduled implementation
• Execute firewall configuration changes on Palo Alto firewalls and Guardicore segmentation policies after 
• Participate in change control meetings and provide status updates on pending and completed requests
• Maintain accurate records of all firewall changes and approvals
• Collaborate with IT security and network engineering teams to ensure safe and compliant deployments

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Solid understanding of firewall concepts, network segmentation, and change control processes
• Basic familiarity with ITIL or formal change management workflows
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow established procedures
• Willingness to work during evening change windows 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
