We are seeking a full-time Network Administrator to join our highly skilled team of IT professionals. This role will provide technical solutions and recommendations to our clients as well as our internal teams.
As a Network Administrator, you will support, remediate, and maintain client servers, workstations, and peripherals through onsite, on-call, and remote work. You will deliver high-quality, timely solutions through effective troubleshooting, mentorship, and subject matter expertise.
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform preventive health care checks on clients’ computing environments.
- Maintain client hardware and software solutions, including patching and upgrades.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of servers, network, and workstation, equipment.
- Proactively review and resolve network, system, and performance issues.
- Utilize client documentation, online reference materials, peer collaboration, and ticket history to resolve technical problems.
- Provide timely and effective in-person or remote troubleshooting support for clients to resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Provide expert consultation and security recommendations to further improve the client experience and security posture.
- Engage in a scheduled on-call rotation to deliver technical support services to clients beyond regular business hours.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate technical issues and resolution plans clearly.
- Serve as a client advocate, coordinating with client personnel and vendors to implement new systems or resolve IT needs.
- Drive to expand technical knowledge through learning, training, and development.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Professional experience and/or certifications in cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Ability to administer and troubleshoot virtual environments, storage systems, email security, cloud security.
- Familiarity with remote access solutions, multi-factor authentication, and virtual application delivery.
- Experience with server hardware diagnostics, maintenance, and component replacement.
- Proficiency in PC diagnostics, workstation deployment, and server troubleshooting.
Technical Leadership Skills
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership and serving as a subject matter expert for solution delivery and technical escalation.
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to work across diverse industries and technology implementations.
- Ability to work with individuals of different backgrounds and technical skill levels when imparting technical information in a digestible manner.
- Results driven, with a strong ability to deliver high-quality, timely, technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and critical and analytical thinking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- This role requires work outside of normal business hours; candidates must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
