The<\/span> <\/span><\/span>PeopleSoft<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>System<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Administrator<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> will <\/span><\/span>manage the ERP environments including<\/span> <\/span><\/span>installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>of all components and technical aspects of the<\/span> <\/span><\/span>web, application, integration, and batch tiers<\/span><\/b>.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

As needed, the<\/span> PeopleSoft <\/span><\/span>System<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Administrator<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>will perform<\/span> <\/span><\/span>tools and application (PUM) upgrades, patching, change assistant runs,<\/span> <\/span><\/span>system<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>compare reports, DMS\/SQL\/Linux script executions, code migrations, and performance tuning<\/span><\/b>.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

This role works closely with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>management, functional\/development teams, infrastructure groups, and business stakeholders<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>to accomplish projects and address factors impacting<\/span> <\/span><\/span>system<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>requirements or performance.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Strong<\/span> <\/span><\/span>troubleshooting and research skills<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>are required for resolving application issues, managing vendor\-related bug fixes, and supporting project efforts.
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

Some tasks—including<\/span> <\/span><\/span>patching, upgrades, production releases, and on\-call rotation<\/span><\/b>—will require<\/span> <\/span><\/span>after\-hours monitoring and execution<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>to maintain<\/span> <\/span><\/span>system<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>health, minimize outages, and ensure effective communication and timely issue resolution.

Role and Responsibilities<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Perform regular<\/span> <\/span><\/span>maintenance and monitoring<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>of the<\/span> <\/span><\/span>PeopleSoft<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>(STARS) environments to ensure<\/span> <\/span><\/span>system<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>availability, performance, and efficiency<\/span><\/b>.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with<\/span> <\/span><\/span>functional and development teams<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>to support migrations, configurations, production support, enhancements, and project efforts.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Conduct<\/span> <\/span><\/span>troubleshooting<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>as needed to resolve performance, error, and availability issues within the application.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Coordinate with the<\/span> <\/span><\/span>PeopleSoft<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>System<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>Administrator<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>,<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Oracle DBA<\/span><\/b>, and<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Server teams<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>to perform required patching and upgrades.

    • Daily:<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Perform maintenance and monitoring for both<\/span> <\/span><\/span>Production and Non\-Production<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>PeopleSoft<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>(STARS) environments. Ensure maximum<\/span> <\/span><\/span>availability, reliability, performance, security, and integrity<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>of production and disaster recovery applications through routine monitoring of ERP applications, job statuses, log files, audit trails, and overall<\/span> <\/span><\/span>system<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>health.

    • As Needed:<\/span><\/b> <\/span><\/span>Perform project\-related tasks, upgrades, migrations, and implementation of bug fixes in support of functional and development team activities.

        • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

          Experience:<\/span><\/span><\/b>
          <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>

          • 7 years of experience as an Application System Administrator supporting PeopleSoft HCM and\/or FSCM environments, both in production and non\-production<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

            • People Tools 8.58 or above
              <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><\/li>

            • Oracle SQL

            • Integration Broker configuration

            • Process Scheduler configuration
