This is a remote position.
Seeking a senior engineer to design and build intelligent, AI-driven conversation systems that enhance user experience. This role combines deep backend development expertise with leadership and product-minded thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, well-tested backend systems for AI-powered conversations.
- Lead technical direction, project planning, and mentoring across the team.
- Translate product goals into actionable technical plans and robust solutions.
- Guide code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team onboarding.
- Drive quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software development experience, including 2+ years in a senior role
- Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript
- Strong background in RESTful API design and backend systems
- Experience in system architecture and cloud platforms (especially GCP)
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven product development and decision-making experience
