Senior System Administrator 0925

 This role supports critical classified programs by managing and maintaining secure IT infrastructures. The position involves monitoring and troubleshooting systems in both virtualized and bare-metal environments, ensuring high availability in a 24/7 setting. The administrator will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support system development, upgrades, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain computer systems in a VMware environment.

• Perform OS and hardware troubleshooting across physical and virtual systems.

• Provide IT support for system upgrades and new implementations.

• Execute system backups and ensure recovery procedures.

• Develop automation scripts to improve system performance and reliability.

• Maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Support 24/7 operations, with occasional after-hours work required.

Requirements & Details:

• Must hold an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

• 100% onsite role at Buckley AFB, Aurora, CO.
