This position is part of the team of IT professionals developing and administering a SharePoint site for the DoD medical center for a DoD location.
• Provide design, development, integration, administration sustainment, and SharePoint management services.
• Upgrade and/or convert SharePoint sites as required by the direction of the government.
• Write and post documentation to the web-for both technical and end users-work must be optimize for performance and easy to use interface.
• Create application from conception to deployment, and sustain existing internal/external websites and portals.
• Create end-user and system documentation for web-based applications
• Assist with definition and make recommendations on the tactical direction of online content
• Work closely with graphic designers, project managers and others to conceive and create web pages, sites, access, and complex workflows.
• Create and consistently improve workflows.
• Analyze site data and traffic to maximize online impact of initiatives.
• Preform training sessions for Users, SME, and Support Staff.
• Research, test, and apply Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and SharePoint patches and they become available.
• Create how-to-manuals and guides or end users.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution and testing and evaluation support
• Five (5) years experience developing and/or administering SharePoint with a focus on SharePoint 2010 including creation of sites, sub-sites, and sub areas.
• Ability to develop and implement all necessary operational processes to insure a well-functioning and secure SharePoint environment with several hundred users.
• Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and migrations.
• Ability to design and implement “best practice” architectures for SharePoint servers and data storage.
• Must be well versed in the setup, configuration, and management of SharePoint environments.
• Expert user in Remedy and MS Visio
• Excellent communication skills Preferred Requirements
• IAT (Level II) Certification
Must be willing to have a NACLC investigation
• Must have an active Comptia Security+ CE, or SSCP, SCNP, GSEC within 90 days
Preferred Requirements
• MCITP OR MCPD in SharePoint
• Master’s Degree
