Your Role: IT System Administrator Intern

The primary objective of the IT System Administrator Intern Service Mapping project is to support the organization's efforts in building accurate and comprehensive ServiceNow service maps for its top ten business-critical applications. The intern will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and mapping all infrastructure and application-level dependencies including servers, switches, databases, APIs, and other components required to support each critical application.

Credentials, Experience or Skills 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure (servers, networking, databases, etc.) and enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or similar diagramming tools.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, CMDBs, or service mapping tools is a plus.
• Prior exposure to systems administration, networking, or application support is a bonus.
