Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional System Administrator to join our vibrant IT team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of assuring the best performance, efficiency, and security of our organization's IT infrastructure. The System Administrator will maintain and support our computer systems, networks, and data center to ensure their stability and reliability. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented expert who can manage important IT difficulties with precision and passion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware components.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime.
- Follow security standards and conduct frequent security audits to ensure data integrity.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and access control settings.
- Backup data and manage disaster recovery strategies.
- Work with the IT team to handle network servers and technology tools.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for improving system efficiency.
- Provide technical support and training to employees as needed.
- Record system settings, updates, and procedural recommendations.
Skills:
- Proficient in system management for Windows and Linux environments.
- Extensive knowledge of network protocols, firewall administration, and security procedures.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage several projects and prioritize efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar subject.
- A minimum of three years' experience in system administration or an equivalent IT function.
- Preferred qualifications are CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, and Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
Annual Pay:
- Competitive compensation range of $70,000 to $90,000 based on experience and credentials.
