What You'll Be Doing

Server and Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain server environments across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.

Monitoring and Optimization: Proactively monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimize performance to meet client demands.

Security and Disaster Recovery: Implement robust security protocols and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

Client Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert, advising clients on infrastructure upgrades, new technologies, and system improvements.

Network and Security Collaboration: Partner with network engineers to support server-level networking and security, including firewalls and access controls.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all server configurations and infrastructure diagrams10.
Ideal Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role.
- Experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization platforms.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and security best practices.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), or CompTIA Network+.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
