JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Systems and Network Administrator who understands that establishing a customer-centric type of environment is part of our company culture. Furthermore, one that believes that providing a high-level of service will contribute to our ongoing strategic efforts.

The Systems and Network Administrator will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, performance and ongoing support of Incredible Technologies’ corporate network which includes, identifying and implementing hardware, security measures and tier II support to internal customers. This a hybrid position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scope, design, configure and implement changes to networks, servers and systems to ensure successful project completion.
• Plan and implement network security, manage and regulate permissions
• Setup, configure, review VLANs
• Review, setup, configure, deploy, manage, monitor and maintain the following solutions
  • Firewalls, VPNs, switches, SAN, servers and all network peripherals
  • Maintain password management software, encryption keys and ensure that all assets conform to policy
  • Maintain existing backup strategies as well research new ones to ensure business continuity
  • Endpoint Protection
• Develop and maintain installation, operational, and configuration procedures and documentation as well as Help maintain all existing MIS documentation
• Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources and systems.
• Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled maintenance
• Create and execute routine performance maintenance for hardware.
• Assist any MIS personal with installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software.
• Review and document issues to understand root causes and work to implement resolutions with supporting departments.
• Create, update and close support cases in Salesforce
• Other tasks, projects, duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• The ability to lift and rack servers and network switches up to 45 lbs
• Minimum 5 years work experience in server and network administration
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with software products (i.e. Microsoft Server, SQL, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Remote Access and Monitoring Software, Oracle, AWS, Azure.)
• Experience with electronic tools and devices such as testers and cabling/networking equipment
• Related technical certifications (i.e. A+, N+, Microsoft, Cisco) or demonstrated record of success with specific experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking design and support.
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2012 and up, RHEL and its clones
• Experience deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and monitoring the health of routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Aruba/HP)
• Experience documenting network topology with Visio
• Creating and documenting processes and creating work instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical peers
