  • Maintain performance of cloud systems by conducting Azure environment tuning & troubleshooting, identifying and resolving contention in CPU, memory, disk I/O, and other related cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Support the full lifecycle of cloud applications and services by working with program management owners to provide cloud solution development, testing, piloting, deployment, and technical expertise.
  • Implement cloud architectures that meet AVCOE's performance, security, and availability requirements while optimizing for cost efficiency.
  • Implement Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions in accordance with DA, TRADOC, and AVCOE regulations and policies.
  • Ensure proper backups of all AVCOE cloud assets according to AVCOE G-6 policy and signed backup agreements with Cloud Service Providers, using approved backup and recovery tools.
  • Provide end-user training on cloud services and applications on a case-by-case basis, not exceeding 26 training sessions per year.
  • Support imaging services by ensuring AVCOE controlled items have current approved images installed, are functional after imaging, correctly aligned within applicable directory services, and compliant with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaborate on student image development efforts, including the development of new end-item operating system baseline images and updating AVCOE G-6 with version release notes.
  • Assist with classroom support activities as needed, contributing to both Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) and non-ECP classroom technology requirements.
  • Develop scripts and automation tools using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar languages to streamline cloud management and deployment processes.
