Job Description

Desktop Support Technician
Pay Rate: $38.00/HR W2
Hours: M-F, 8am-5am
Location: New York, NY 10014
Duration: 4+ months – Possible extension or permanent hire

Description:

  • Oversee IT services for in-office and hybrid environments (conferencing, printing, network access).
  • Manage the lifecycle of company-issued devices, including upgrades and smooth onboarding/offboarding.
  • Implement compliance policies, procedures, and distribute pre-made training programs.
  • Implement robust security frameworks to protect sensitive data and intellectual property.
  • Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure high-quality IT service delivery with patient, empathetic stakeholder support.
  • Contribute to and deliver on a planned IT roadmap to achieve company goals.
  • Manage Compliance Program IT and security controls via Vanta (policies, procedures, training modules).
  • Ongoing help and support to internal stakeholders
  • Implement and monitor an org wide MDM solution
  • Operate and monitor internal IDP platform (currently Okta)
  • Security Framework and Incident Response Plan with best practices and protocols.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting System to track KPIs and spend.
  • Regular Stakeholder Satisfaction Reports demonstrating service effectiveness.

Skills:

  • 5-7 years of Technical Support experience required
  • Service Now experience required
  • C-Suite support experience required
  • A/V support is required
  • Apple/MAC and Windows experience with troubleshooting required
  • Professional with great customer service
  • Must be able stay focused, working independently
  • Time management
  • A+ Certification is nice to have
