Position: IT Desktop Support
Duration: 5+ Months
Location: Painted post, NY
Voice Operational Resource
Normal business hours, (Mon-Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM).
Role/Responsibilities:
· Operations team member involved in the design and deployment of Cisco Call Manager solutions and IPT Deployments
· Operations team member to be Avaya Definity G3R PBX resident SME for Service Operations
· Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex voice (Avaya or IPT) and data network issues
· Work and collaborate with project and operational teams, and 3rd party vendors.
· Provide consistent and frequent project status updates and project issues.
Skills/Experience:
· 2+ years designing, deploying, installing and configuring complex Cisco IPT solutions with Cisco Unified Call Manager clusters, Cisco Unity Voice Mail
· 5+ years deploying, installing and configuring complex Avaya Definity G3R solutions
· 5+ years troubleshooting and resolving complex Avaya Definity G3R issues
· 3+ years hands on, multi-site telecommunications experience
· SIP, H.323 and MGCP voice protocol configuration experience is a must
· Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting Voice Gateways/Gatekeepers
· Prior experience deploying and administering routers, switches, VGs, ATAs, RAS, TACACS and
· LAN/WAN [HSRP, QoS, VLAN's, Bandwidth modeling] and VoIP infrastructures
· Excellent documentation, presentation, and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication skills and client-facing skills
· CCIE [Voice or R&S], CCVP, or CCNP is a plus
