QUALIFICATIONS

 

      Education

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Holds bachelor’s degree in CIS/MIS/CS with 5 years equivalent work experience

 

      Experience/Skills

 

  • Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with Cisco Networking equipment and configurations.
  • Familiarity with Vectra or similar network detection and response tools
  • Proficiency with PDQ Deploy/Inventory for software management
  • Experience with VEEAM Backup and Replication
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server administration
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, vSphere, and vCenter
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of SSL Certs
  • Works with constant interruptions while maintaining concentration and a pleasant attitude
  • Professionally communicates in a customer/client manner
  • Maintains on-call availability

 

      Required Licenses/Certifications

 

  • Preferred Certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or M365 Certified
  • Cisco CCNA or higher
  • VMware VCP
  • CompTIA Security+ or Equivalent

ROUTINE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

      Behavioral Expectations

  • Consistently complies with established Behavioral Expectations

 

      Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
  • Manage Cisco network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Monitor and respond to security threats using Network Detection, Endpoint Detection, and other security tools.
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery operations using VEEAM
  • Administer SQL Server environments, including performance tuning and backup strategies.
  • Maintain and support VMware, vSphere, and vCenter environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, server, and application issues.
  • Document systems, procedures, and network diagrams.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
  • Will require hands-on experience with setting up computer, printers, and scanners in a domain controller setting.

 

      Miscellaneous Duties

  • Adjusts schedule to meet demands of workload and needs of staff
