JOB DESCRIPTION
Kids Dental Brands is looking for a Network Administrator to support and work with our current IT Team to help in the maintenance and continued development of our clinics systems. The position will oversee both our Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems. Utilizing the companies Cisco Networking and VoIP platforms, the candidate will maintain and troubleshoot networks across our close to 40 clinics across the country as well as our business resources offices in Scottsdale, AZ. The role will also task the individual with some joint tasks across the IT team and work alongside our Senior Systems Administrator, Client Systems Administrator, and Business Intelligence Department, and will report to the IT Director. The ideal candidate will be able to interact with local clinics to assess problems and issues remotely; maintain and update networking systems in a timely and efficient manner.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements and maintains all network, security, and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements.
Oversees the maintenance of local area network (LAN) workstations and physical connections.
Maintains telephone system and associated personal computers (PC’s).
Oversees maintenance of all corporate data communication lines (voice, data).
Provides backup support for printing systems output.
Provides backup support for LAN operating system software and all network application software, security and access rights.
Maintains all computer hardware and attached devices (scanners, printers, etc).
Performs maintenance and administration of LAN backup system.
Oversees maintenance and administration of VPN connections to regional offices.
Oversees maintenance and administration of LAN patch management system and LAN anti-virus/anti-mal-ware system.
Perform in-depth troubleshooting, analysis, isolation and resolution of escalated VoIP network events and customer troubles.
Identify maintenance and test routines and interact with clinic and administrative teams including Executives, Operations, Support Center, and Clinics.
Produce, maintain and update written procedures as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Computer and/or Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
5+ years of experience in Network Administration.
Working knowledge of Cisco Systems – TCP/IP, IPSec, DNS, DHCP, VPN, packet switching/routing, and VOIP.
Some working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, Microsoft Window Operating Systems.
Working knowledge of HIPPA regulations and guidelines pertaining to Information Security.
Strong communication (both oral and written), detail orientation, organizational, problem solving, customer service, and multitasking skills. Ability to be flexible when facing tight deadlines.

Work Environment/ Physical Demands:
The work environment includes work in an office environment. The work environment may vary significantly and may include loud, fast-paced, and rapidly changing conditions. Position may require long periods of sitting and standing. Manual dexterity will be required for handling small objects and typing on a computer. Close and distance vision will be required and the ability to shift focus rapidly. Employee may need to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
