Network Administrator Positions

Family Health Care is expanding its IT department by adding a Network Administrator.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Research, analyze, recommend and obtain approval for solutions to address IT department concerns and projects and/or areas which could improve effectiveness and efficiency of the system within corporate focus. 
  • Work with administration in the planning, purchasing, coordination, installation and configuration of information technology projects and solutions. 
  • Assist vendors with installation and configuration of phones and networking devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with phone and networking devices. 
  • Setup and maintenance of usernames and profiles for network systems and applications under the purview of Information Systems department.
  • Assists in setting of standards for system security and configuration parameters. 


Family Health Care provides integrated health services to patients in 16 locations. We are looking for applicants with experience in technologies that will strengthen and support these in progress and budgeted projects.


  • Microsoft 365 configuration and administration
  • Implementation of a new IT Asset Management system
  • Expanding school-based health centers and services
  • An expansion of one of our main locations
  • An upgrade of the phone system
  • Reconfiguring the existing WAN/LAN layout
  • An upgrade of the email filter and DLP solution
  • Replacement of the VMWare farm host servers


Educational Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • 2 year degree acceptable with 5+ years relevant experience
  • Industry-standard certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft), combined with demonstrated experience, may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Specific Software Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and Windows operating systems
  • Experience with Remote Desktop Services, printers, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of IP-based phone systems - ShoreTel/MiTEL experience preffered
  • Strong background in server administration (Window Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, etc.)
  • Experience with Cisco and Meraki switching, VLANs, and general network troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare-specific applications
  • Ability to learn and support additional software, systems, and hardware as assigned
