Title: Senior Network Administrator
Location: Bluffdale, UT

 

Description: The Senior Network Administrator role with Tulzi Technologies, LLC will play a critical role in the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure utilizing UNIX and NT based systems, Installing and configuring hardware, OSes and commercial software packages. 


Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems, or Network Engineering and at least five (5) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection. Or the individual shall have five (5) years of full time CS work that can be substituted for the Bachelor' s degree and at least five (5) years of demonstrable experience in network (LAN/WAN) configuration, monitoring, security, and protection.

Responsibilities

  • -Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, ASA and Firepower Firewalls, Nexus and Catalyst switches, and Juniper routers and switches 

    -Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a datacenter environment, experience with spine/leaf and vxlan environments a plus

    -Configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting security setting on network devices (port-security, access control lists, firewall rules, etc…) 

    -Experience coordinating with other IT groups (server teams, desktop teams, cable infrastructure teams, etc...) in support of customer projects and requirements 

    -Experience installing and troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cabling, including network infrastructure connections (WAN, campus connections, etc…) as well as host connectivity (workstations, printers, etc…) 

    -Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation 

    -Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team and to perform duties independently with minimal direction. 

  •  An IAT level II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. Security + CE, GSEC, or SSCP.

  •  TS/SCI w FSP
