Job Summary: The Systems and Network Administrator plans, manages, and optimizes network and system operations, supporting the director and IT staff. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring system security, and overseeing technology implementations. The role also involves managing VoIP systems, video surveillance, and providing redundancy support, while staying updated on technological advancements to improve IT efficiency.
Starting Hourly Rate: Grade 7: $78,172.00 - $109,792 DOE Work Day: 8 hours per day Work Year: 12 months Bargaining Unit: Non-Represented
Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer-related field required or at least four (4) years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide computer networks.
Experience in network infrastructure management, enterprise-grade telephony, video conferencing, and video surveillance.
Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Cisco, IOS/NX-OS, Microsoft Windows, and Linux
Knowledge of current protocols and standards, including DNS, HTTP, SSL, LDAP, and TCP/IP.
